Jamia Millia Islamia Extends Admission Deadline for Online Distance Learning Courses to September 15

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University previously opened applications for admission for distance learning courses through JMI’s Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the 2021-22 academic session from of January. The deadline to apply was August 22, but the university has now extended the deadline for the admissions process. According to the new notification, the new deadline is September 15.

“At the request of the hony. Director, CDOE, The Vice-Chancellor, JMI has approved the extension of the last date to complete the Center for Distance and Online Education Admission Forms for all UG/PG/Certificate/PG Diploma Programs from 22.08.2022 to 15.09.2022 for the 2022-23 academic session,” reads the new notification from the university.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the online distance learning programs link

Step 3: Register

Step 4: Complete the application form

Step 5: Pay the fees. Submit

Step 6: Download and print if needed later

Candidates applying for courses at Jamia Milia Islamia must pay Rs 500 as application fee. Candidates can submit their applications only through the online mode on the Jamia Millia Islamia websites – jmicoe.in and jmi.ac.in.

Launched in September 2002, Jamia’s Center for Distance and Open Learning (CDOE) offers various graduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programs. According to the official website, the center also organizes an Urdu fluency course or a correspondence course. “The open learning system allows a learner to determine their place of learning and brings education to their doorstep. The mode of transaction is through self-study printed materials, supplemented by audio and video programs in addition to face-to-face counseling sessions and contact programs. Efforts are currently underway to organize the Self-Learning Materials (SLM) online,” the website adds.
